Platform Overview

Discover what Spaghetti Showdown is, its key features for the FGC, and who the platform is built for.

What is Spaghetti Showdown?

Spaghetti Showdown is a free, all-in-one tournament platform built specifically for the Fighting Game Community (FGC). Whether you are running a local weekly, competing in an online bracket, or streaming matches to your audience, Spaghetti Showdown gives you the tools to make it happen without juggling half a dozen different services.

Born out of frustration with fragmented tournament workflows, the platform brings together bracket management, live scoreboards, player profiles, community hubs, and a virtual economy into a single, cohesive experience.

Key Features

Tournament Management

Create and run tournaments with support for multiple bracket formats including single elimination, double elimination, round robin, and Swiss. Built-in check-in, seeding, and automated bracket progression keep things running smoothly from pools to grand finals.

Live Streaming Integration

Overlay-ready scoreboards and bracket widgets let streamers display real-time tournament data directly on their broadcasts. Widgets update automatically as matches are reported, so there is no need to manually change names or scores mid-stream.

Player Profiles and Rankings

Every player gets a profile that tracks their tournament history, match record, and rankings across different games. Earn Spaghetti Points by competing and spend them on cosmetic upgrades in the Spaghetti Store.

Community Hubs

Communities act as home bases for local scenes, Discord servers, or game-specific groups. Organizers can manage recurring events, post announcements, and build a roster of regular attendees all in one place.

Coaching Tools

Coaches and mentors can offer sessions, track student progress, and manage scheduling through integrated coaching features designed for the FGC.

Who Is Spaghetti Showdown For?

  • Tournament Organizers — Run brackets of any size with professional-grade tools. Handle registration, seeding, check-in, and results without spreadsheets or manual bracket images.
  • Competitive Players — Find and register for tournaments, track your performance across events, and build a verifiable competitive history.
  • Content Creators and Streamers — Use embeddable widgets to display live brackets and scoreboards on stream. No plugins required, just a browser source URL.
  • Coaches — Offer coaching services, manage your students, and build your reputation within the community.
  • Community Leaders — Create a hub for your local or online scene, organize recurring events, and grow your membership.

Free Forever

Spaghetti Showdown is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers, no paywalls on core features, and no limits on the number of tournaments you can run or enter. The platform sustains itself through its optional cosmetic economy — Spaghetti Points and the Spaghetti Store — so competitive features will never be locked behind a paywall.

We believe that tournament infrastructure should be accessible to everyone, from a 8-person local to a 512-player major. That commitment is not changing.
