### Artwork Types The Spaghetti Store accepts several categories of artwork, each with specific requirements: **Store Items:** - **Avatar Borders** — Decorative frames around player avatars. Submit as PNG with transparency, 256x256 pixels minimum. The border should have a transparent center where the avatar will be displayed. Animated borders (GIF or APNG format) are also accepted. - **Card Backgrounds** — Full backgrounds for the player card display. Submit as PNG or JPG, 800x500 pixels minimum. These should be visually interesting but not so busy that they make text hard to read. Include a subtle gradient or darkened area where player information will overlay. - **Stickers** — Small decorative graphics for player cards. Submit as PNG with transparency, 128x128 pixels minimum. Stickers should be clear and recognizable even at small sizes. Submit collections of 4-6 related stickers as a sticker pack. - **Profile Banners** — Wide banner images for player profile pages. Submit as PNG or JPG, 1200x300 pixels minimum. **Tournament Graphics:** - **Top 8 Backgrounds** — Celebratory graphics displayed behind the Top 8 results screen at the end of a tournament. Submit as PNG, 1920x1080 pixels. These should be bold, dynamic designs that convey achievement and competition. - **Tournament Banners** — Header graphics for tournament listing pages. Submit as PNG or JPG, 1200x400 pixels.

### The Submission Process To submit artwork: 1. **Open the Artist Dashboard** from your profile menu 2. **Click New Submission** to start a new entry 3. **Select the artwork type** from the dropdown menu 4. **Upload your files** — drag and drop or click to browse. Make sure files meet the size and format requirements for the selected type. 5. **Add a title and description** — the title is what will appear in the store, and the description helps the review team understand your vision 6. **Set a suggested price** in Spaghetti Points — the review team may adjust this based on the item complexity and the current store pricing 7. **Add tags** — tag your artwork with relevant keywords (game names, styles, themes) to help with store categorization 8. **Submit for Review** — your submission enters the approval queue ### The Approval Process Every submission goes through a review by the Spaghetti Showdown content team. The review checks for: - **Quality** — Does the artwork meet the visual standards of the platform? - **Technical specs** — Are the dimensions, format, and file size correct? - **Appropriateness** — Is the content suitable for the platform audience? - **Originality** — Is the work original and not infringing on any copyrights? - **Store fit** — Does the item complement the existing store catalog? You will receive a notification when the review is complete. If approved, your artwork goes live in the store. If revisions are needed, the review team will provide specific, actionable feedback so you can update and resubmit. ### Tips for Successful Submissions - **Study the existing store** to understand the visual style and quality level - **Use the provided templates** for exact dimensions and safe zones - **Test your artwork** at the display size to ensure it looks good when scaled down - **Keep text minimal** — artwork with embedded text may not work for all languages - **Submit in batches** — themed collections tend to perform better than standalone items Your creativity shapes the visual identity of Spaghetti Showdown. Every submitted piece enriches the platform for the entire community.
