As an official artist, your work appears in the Spaghetti Store, on tournament graphics, and across the platform — all while earning royalties on every sale. ### What Is the Artist Program? The Artist Program is a collaboration between Spaghetti Showdown and visual artists who want to create content for the fighting game community. Accepted artists can submit artwork that becomes available as purchasable cosmetic items in the Spaghetti Store — things like player card backgrounds, avatar borders, sticker packs, and Top 8 celebration graphics. The program is open to digital artists of all styles, from illustrators and graphic designers to pixel artists and animators. What matters most is quality, creativity, and a passion for the FGC. ### How to Apply To apply for the Artist Program: 1. **Navigate to the Artist Program page** from the main menu under Community 2. **Fill out the application form** with: - Your artist name or handle - A brief bio describing your style and experience - Links to your portfolio (Behance, ArtStation, DeviantArt, Instagram, or personal website) - 3-5 sample pieces that showcase your range and quality 3. **Submit your application** — the review team will evaluate your work Applications are reviewed regularly. You will receive a notification with the decision, typically within 1-2 weeks. If your application is not accepted, you can re-apply after 30 days with updated or new samples. ### What Happens After Acceptance Once accepted into the program, you gain access to the **Artist Dashboard** where you can: - **Submit new artwork** for review and inclusion in the store - **Track sales** of your items and see how many players are using them - **View your royalty balance** and payout history - **Communicate with the review team** about upcoming themes, events, and collaboration opportunities ### Royalties Artists earn royalties on every sale of their artwork in the Spaghetti Store. Royalties are calculated based on the Spaghetti Points price of the item — even though players purchase with virtual currency, the platform converts this to a monetary value for royalty calculations. Your royalty earnings are paid via bank transfer or through your preferred payment method as specified in your contract. ### Artist Contracts All accepted artists sign a simple, fair contract that covers: - **Usage rights** — Spaghetti Showdown gets a license to use your artwork on the platform.
