## The Superadmin Control Center
The Admin Panel is the central management interface for Spaghetti Showdown superadmins. From here, you can manage users, moderate content, configure platform settings, monitor system health, and oversee every aspect of the platform operation.

### Who Can Access the Admin Panel
The Admin Panel is restricted to users with **Superadmin** privileges. Superadmin status is granted at the database level and cannot be self-assigned. If you need admin access, contact an existing superadmin. The panel is accessible from the **Admin** link in the main navigation, which only appears for authorized users.
### Available Tabs
The Admin Panel is organized into several tabs, each covering a different area of platform management:
**Users Tab:**
View and manage all registered users on the platform. Search for users by name, email, or ID. From here you can:
- View user profiles and account details
- Grant or revoke blog editor permissions
- Grant or revoke tournament organizer status
- Grant or revoke superadmin privileges
- View user activity and tournament participation history
**Tournaments Tab:**
Oversee all tournaments on the platform, both active and completed. Administrative actions include:
- View tournament details and participant lists
- Edit tournament settings if an organizer needs help
- Cancel or archive problematic tournaments
- Feature tournaments on the platform homepage

**Blog Tab:**
Manage all blog content across the platform:
- View all posts (drafts, published, archived)
- Edit or remove any blog post
- Manage blog categories and tags
- Review content flagged by users
**Communities Tab:**
Oversee community management:
- View all communities and their statistics
- Resolve disputes between community leaders and members
- Feature communities on the platform
- Remove communities that violate platform guidelines
**Store Tab:**
Manage the Spaghetti Store inventory:
- Add, edit, or remove store items
- Set prices and manage limited edition timers
- Review artwork submissions from the Artist Program
- Monitor purchase statistics and popular items
**Settings Tab:**
Platform-wide configuration:
- Manage featured content on the homepage
- Configure announcement banners
- Set tournament season dates
- Adjust point multipliers for ranked events
### Key Functions
Beyond the tab-specific tools, superadmins have several platform-wide capabilities:
- **Impersonation** — View the platform as any user sees it, useful for debugging user-reported issues
- **System Logs** — Access detailed logs of platform actions, API calls, and errors
- **Broadcast Notifications** — Send platform-wide notifications to all users
- **Data Export** — Export tournament data, user statistics, and analytics
### Responsibility
With great power comes great responsibility. The Admin Panel gives you control over user accounts, content, and platform settings. Always:
- **Document changes** you make, especially permission changes
- **Communicate with the team** before making significant platform changes
- **Be cautious with user data** — respect privacy and handle information appropriately
- **Test changes** in the development environment before applying them to production
